PTO Open Positions

2024-2025 PTO Positions

You can make a big difference by giving your time and talent to: 

Open Team Leader Positions:

President:  Representative and main point of contact for the PTO and committees.  Leads monthly PTO meetings.

Vice President:  Assists the president and helps cover when the president isn't available.  Plan and promote at least one community event each school year. 

Treasurer: Responsible for bookkeeping. Presents the budget at PTO meetings.  Works with board to create an annual budget. Writes checks for approved reimbursements in a timely manner. 

Secretary:  Maintains the calendar and PTBoard communication platform. Records the meeting minutes. Promotes the PTO on social media.  

Carnival:  Plan, organize, and promote the carnival.  Coordinating activities, volunteers, food trucks and vendors to managing sponsorships.  All while staying within an approved budget.  You would be at the forefront of creating an unforgettable experience for the school community. 

Give Back Nights:  Be the contact person for our give back nights such as End of Year Celebration, Bingo Night, etc.   Ability to coordinate getting supplies such as ordering ice cream/treats, prizes for bingo, etc.   These events are held in the evenings. 

Box Tops:  Promote the Box Tops for Education program.  

Additional Team Member help appreciated:

Book Fair:  Help the Book Fair team leader with organizing the book fair.   Duties may include helping to set up, decorate, staff the fair (along with additional volunteers), packing up, etc.   We host 2 book fair each year during school conferences. 

Carnival: Help the team leaders plan, organize and set up/clean up the Carnival event.   

**Without dedicated volunteers we may need to cancel or postpone events.
