2018 Carnival Classroom Basket Themes

We are making classroom theme baskets again this year.  Each class will participate in providing a theme basket for the auction on Carnival night!  Below are the themes for each classroom.  You may send in items for your classroom basket at any time to your child's classroom teacher.  We will accept donations of cash or new items only.  We need time to assemble the baskets and get them added to the online auction prior to carnival night.  Therefore, please have all items in by Friday, April 20th.  Thank you so much for your support in making this a fun family evening and successful fundraiser!  All money earned will go directly to programs, supplies and technologies that support our students and teachers at Red Rock.

Donations of Candy Bars and Bottles of Pop Needed Please

Parents: We need your donations of King size candy bars and 1 or 2-liter bottles of pop for the carnival pop toss and candy bar walk please. These events are a huge hit with our kiddos at the carnival so your donations are essential to make it happen! Please send to school labeled PTO carnival with your child or drop off in the office. We would like to have as many of these supplies as possible donated before spring break so we can ensure we will be able to run the games at the carnival on May 4!  Thank you for your help!

Silent Auction Donations Needed for Carnival

The Red Rock PTO Carnival/Silent Auction Committee is working on soliciting donations for our carnival on May 4, 2018. Do you or a relative work for a company, have season tickets, or have a personal contact with someone who could provide a donation? We are looking for services, classes, gift certificates, products, or tickets to events. All donations are tax deductible and you will be provided with our tax ID number if needed. Any donations can be sent to school:  Attn- Courtney Braatz PTO or . Thanks for your help in making this a successful event to raise money for our children’s enrichment!

Red Rock Annual Science Fair

Our school will be having a Science Fair on Thursday, April 26th, 2018! We hope that, with your enthusiastic encouragement, your student will participate in the fair by preparing a project. Parent Volunteers Spring Book Fair 2018

Calling all parents....we need your help!  February 27 - March 6 is the Red Rock Book Fair Fundraiser, and much of its success hinges on parent participation.  Please consider signing up for one (or more) of the following volunteer shifts.  Let your extended family members (like grandparents) know they are welcome to volunteer.  Please understand that some of the shifts may be a little longer or shorter than the times listed due to the traffic flow at the book fair.  A book fair chairperson will always be working with you and can answer any questions you may have.

Piada Fundraising Event - January 30

Please support Red Rock Elementary by attending the Piada Fundraiser on January 30th. Bring in the flyer or mention it to the cashier that you are with Red Rock, and our school will receive 30% of the proceeds. This is an all day event so stop in for lunch or dinner.

Red Rock Bingo Community Night - Friday, January 19

The Red Rock PTO invites you to Bingo Community Night on Friday, January 19th from 6-7:30pm in the Red Rock Gym. This is a free community event as a thank you for your support. Note - Students must be accompanied by an adult chaperone.

2017 Red Rock Back to School Night

Red Rock Elementary Back-to-School Night  
Wednesday, August 30, 2017 | 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. 

  • Meet the Teacher: Visit your child's classroom and meet his or her teacher.  If you know your child’s bus information, bring it with you.
  • School Supplies: Bring in your child's school supplies.
  • Conferences:  Red Rock is using an electronic system called PTCfast to schedule conferences. More details will be sent out in September.

  • PTO Fundraiser: Please consider a TAX-deductible donation of $45 per child or $65 per family to help us reach our goal of $10,000 which is just a fraction of the $40,000 we are funding this year. Any amount you choose to give is greatly appreciated and helps to support our commitment to NO door-to-door. You can pay by cash, check (written to Red Rock PTO), or credit card.  Pledge form available here:  PTO Fundraiser
  • Volunteer:  Calling all parents and guardians. Choose PTO opportunities that fit your schedule and talents.

  • Purchase Thursday Folder & Agenda (2nd- 5th grades):  $5 (write a check to “Red Rock”).
  • Clip, Shop & Save Fundraising Table: Box Tops for Education: Drop off your Box Tops and enter for a change to win a price! Place 25 Box Tops in a baggie labeled with your child's name and phone number. Drop them off at the Box Tops table to be entered into the drawing. Also, find out how you can save money while earning money for Red Rock at local retailers!
  • School Directory: Sign your family up to be included in the school directory. The update will also automatically sign you up to receive the PTO Red Rocket email updates.  Save time and sign up through this link now:  2017 Student Directory
  • Pride Wear: Now's the time to purchase fun Red Rock T-shirts and water bottles. Students are encouraged to wear their pride gear on Pride Day, which is the first Friday of each month.
  • Kid's Club: Speak with representatives regarding before- and after-school care.
  • School Lunch Table: Deposit money into your child's school lunch account (SchoolCafe)

  • Transportation: Get your transportation questions answered.
  • School Patrol: Learn about our school's crossing guard program.
  • Stop by the Media Center to check it out.

Volunteers are needed to cover a few shifts that afternoon/evening. If you volunteer one shift, you'll still have plenty of time to visit your child's/children's classroom(s). Please consider helping out.
