Mission Statement

The Parent Teacher Organization at Red Rock Elementary strives to make our school the best it can be through funding vital programs, like enrichment activities, classroom equipment, supplies, books and the playground.  Another major function of the Red Rock PTO is organizing volunteers to make possible many of the current enrichment programs, fundraising initiatives, school spirit events, and the creation of the yearbook and the directory.  Parents, guardians, faculty and staff are encouraged to have a voice and share their time and talents;  opportunities to offer input include all-parent meetings or by contacting a PTO committee member directly.

Thank you for your support!  The Red Rock Elementary PTO is here to help parents, guardians, teachers and faculty work together to provide the best elementary experience we can for our students.

Want to get involved in your child’s school and be a part of making our school great? Then, join the PTO! The Red Rock Elementary PTO is comprised of parent volunteers. We are here to help parents, guardians, teachers and faculty work together to provide the best elementary experience we can for our students. Our mission is to provide students, staff, and parents with financial and volunteer support to enrich our learning community. The following positions are open for the 2017-2018 school year. Vice President (officer)
Serve in the absence of the president. Plan and schedule 1-2 speakers for parenting related presentations and assist the president as needed. 

Yearbook Lead Coordinator (1) & Co-Coordinator (1)
Take pictures of students and staff throughout the year and design layout of the yearbook. 

Lego Robotics Coordinator
Works with Community Education to oversee the Lego Robotics program including recruiting coaches. 

Science Fair Co-Coordinator
Plan, organize and execute Science Fair 

Destination Imagination Coordinator
Coordinate DI registration, recruits and trains DI coaches, signs teams up for DI tournaments. Works with Community Education on this program. 

Electronic Media Coordinator *Shadow
Maintain and update the PTO website and Facebook page. Send out Red Rocket emails when needed. Monitor PTO electronic communications. 

* Shadow positions means working with the current PTO board member during the current school year in order to gain the experience needed to take over the position for the following school year.
